Born in 1985 in the mountains of western Canada, Ray spent much of his
formative years sailing around the world when at the age of 15 he moved with his family onto a 13.8 meter sailing boat and commenced a six year around the world sailing voyage.
During the sail he started to develop his passion for photography. 2005 marked the end of the sailing chapter and a headlong dive into the beginning of a new adventure into photography.
Exploding onto the hip-hop scene, Ray started with photographing several breakdance events where he really started to get a taste for action photography. Ray has always been an active in sports, ranging from Martial arts to Skiing to Kitesurfing and sailing to his latest addiction, Rock climbing.
With a defined focus on action photography, both live and produced.
He finds beauty and power in the human form, working with athletes and dancers to produce world class imagery.
Always looking forward to the next project, Ray is currently based in Berlin Germany.
